We are Karen and Peter . We currently own a fantastic Wellhouse Ford Transit Lux XL high top campervan. We changed our previous pop-up roof camper from Lowdhams (called the Summit also converted by Wellhouse) as my husband was finding pushing the roof up a bit harder. We did love this van and used it to part exchange. We also got the added bonus of a proper fixed toilet in our new van. We collected her last October 2023. She also had all leather as an extra. Beautiful! Love the layout. The single beds make it a dream in both day mode and night mode. There’s also lots of storage, overhead lockers and under seat’s storage.

We have been camping for all our married life, so nearly 31 years. We have had many different motorhomes and campervans over the years. Some big, some small. This is perfect and meets all our needs and expectations. We both love walking , cycling and photography. Everything can come with us . Clothes can easily be washed.

I can’t imagine a different life without our van. My husband drives  the van and having the automatic makes it easier.

We do our research before we book a site.

At the moment we are on a 4 week trip to Wiltshire, Somerset , Devon . Trying out some adult only sites. Found several excellent ones. Wells Touring Park and The Minnows, just off the M5. Excellent links to buses and trains.

We both totally recommend Wellhouse Leisure with David and the team. Nothing is too much trouble should you have any issues or questions. They have an excellent knowledge of their conversions and most helpful when it comes to campervan sales.
