These are the versions of the Toyota Hiace High Tops to which there are some variation of length, width, height and types of conversions. We used to convert the Toyota Hiaces many years ago so this is not an all new model to us, back in 2007 we even did then brand new so this is not a new thing for us.
So why are we doing them again ? Well various reasons, first of all older diesels are now falling foul of the new London ULEZ and other cities clean air zone rules which are been rolled out across the UK. The petrol versions of the Toyota Hiaces from 2006 are exempt from these rules. Also the Toyota Hiaces and Nissan NV350s we do offer a different type of conversion.
Models available and sizes. We will stick to petrol automatic 2WD but we can also get diesels, manuals and 4WD versions but these can be harder to find.
- SWB with Factory Roof. 4.69m long, 1.69m wide, 2,23 high.
- SWB with Extra High High Top Roof. 4.69m long, 1.69m wide, 2.6m high.
- LWB with Factory Roof. 5.38m long, 1.88m wide, 2.28m high.
SWB High Top & Extra High Top Conversions 2 seater with rear kitchen & loo.
It will have rear kitchen on driver side opposite the wardrobe and hidden cassette loo with a slide across divider for privacy, it also has underslung GasLow system and a mini oven/grill as standard. The front has a bench seat behind the drivers seat and a single seat on the passenger side (not for travelling in) and it also has a ottoman style seat behind the driver and passenger seat. You can either have 2 x singles or 1 x massive double bed.
Cab to rear access can be done if you are agile enough to go through the gap but generally its easier to get out and walk round. This is a great campervan for someone wanting a small vehicle that is ULEZ compliant petrol with air-con and in easy to drive but has the benefits of a proper cassette toilet, mini oven and single beds.
This conversion is the same as the Nissan NV350 and although its the same width is 38cm shorter so it will have the rear kitchen the same but smaller as in smaller wardrobe on the passenger side and shorter worktop on the drivers side. It will stall have the same cassette loo.
Please note the extra high top will have over 6ft of headroom where as the factory high top will be around 5ft 4in. The extra high top add £2,000 to the conversion.

SWB High Top & Extra High Top Conversions 4 seater with side conversion and sliding seat system.
The conversion is the same as the Nissan NV350 SWB.
It has standard glass top hob & sink, fresh & waste water tanks, 40ltr com[pressor fridge, LED lights, mains hook up, split charge relay, digital display control panel, leisure battery, solar panel, porty potty, plenty of cupboard space.

LWB Factory High Top Conversion.
This version will have the same layout as the Nissan NV350 high top but its 30cm longer & 18cm wider so will have more space & wider bed. Please note this version will only be available with the factory high top so limited head room.

2023 Stock SituationWe have plenty Ford Customs available but only SWB, some 170ps models and then later in the year lots of Automatic SWB models. On the Toyota Proace we only have 1 left and we are not planning on building anymore.
On Japanese campers we have unlimited supply of Toyota Alphard and Nissan Serena and we will have the first side converted Serena ready towards the end of March. We also have some Nissan Caravans on route from Japan as well.
