Why midi sized? The E35 is only 4.5m long, which is shorter than the Japanese imports and at 1.68m wide (Mirrors in). The first “all electric” campervan we will be converting and unlike the other models we offer, the “Piccolo” has up 166 mile range.
The conversion will comprise of a simple, side bench behind the drivers seat that can pull out in to a 6ft/1,8m double bed and include under seat storage. The rear of the conversion has a wardrobe which will be around 2ft/60cm width. The kitchen has be at the rear passenger side with 2 x ring gas hob & gas heating. It also has; fresh & waste water containers, mains hook up, lithium leisure battery and 150w solar panel.
We understand that some people will question “why gas” and the simple answer is that unless you are on mains hook up the electric options available at the moment are not really suitable for off grid camping. However, we can offer a gas free van which would have an electric heater and electric hob but YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE ON MAINS for this. We know companies have fitted induction hobs and heating from leisure batteries, however they are limited in the length of time you can use them and we find this way more practical.

Range & Charging
The van can travel up to 166 miles¹ on a full charge. An indicator in the dashboard highlights the van’s remaining battery capacity, so you can plan your charging requirements. Equipped with CCS Type 2 charging, the DFSK EC35 can be charged at both fast and rapid charging points – the battery can be recharged to full in 6 hours using a 7kW charge point or to 80% in just 60 minutes using a rapid charger.

Warranty, Servicing & Roadside Assistance
The DFSK EC35 comes with a 5 year/ 75,000 mile warranty, and the traction battery benefits from additional cover at 8 years/ 100,000 miles. All new DFSK EC35 vans come with 3 years inclusive roadside assistance supported by the AA. Servicing is required every 12 months/15,000 miles; this can be booked online and carried out at selected Halfords Autocentres nationally.

2023 Stock SituationWe have plenty Ford Customs available but only SWB, some 170ps models and then later in the year lots of Automatic SWB models. On the Toyota Proace we only have 1 left and we are not planning on building anymore.
On Japanese campers we have unlimited supply of Toyota Alphard and Nissan Serena and we will have the first side converted Serena ready towards the end of March. We also have some Nissan Caravans on route from Japan as well.
